Intuit are the US software company behind QuickBooks, the world’s leading accountancy software for small and medium sized businesses.
They asked us to produce a Christmas greeting that would support Intuit’s positioning as a small business champion that gives back to the community.
Small business owners are time-poor and will only engage with a festive greeting that’s worthwhile and beneficial to them. There is too much nonsense which simply wastes their time.
Our solution was to create `The Intuit Festive Forest’, which was communicated to the customer base via email allowing respondents to upload their company logos to individual baubles and trees in the forest for all to see. Intuit donated £1 to The Woodland Trust for every bauble hung.
The micro-site which we developed also provided participants with a free advertising and networking platform, with company names and logos popping up on each tree in the forest as scroll overs.
Just over 2,500 baubles were uploaded – an unprecedented response from this audience at more than 8% of the customer base.
