For Ascot Racecourse, owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, we began by establishing a clear brand positioning as the highest quality, and most exclusive, sports venue in the world.

We achieved a look which was unmistakably Ascot, applied consistently to all communications channels and customer touch points, whilst appealing to their breadth of audiences from corporate customers to the family market, using themes and images which were appropriate to each.

In the first year of our appointment Ascot enjoyed an unprecedented growth of 9% in attendance figures across the whole season, whilst the British racing industry as a whole slumped by 10% in the same year.

As full service agency to Ascot we oversaw a sustained increase in ticket sales and hospitality revenues every subsequent year, well ahead of the targets set.

Premiership Rugby are responsible for the commercial running of the professional game in England, acting on behalf of all twelve premiership clubs to market and grow the sport of rugby in the UK and overseas.

Since our appointment in 2011 we’ve been responsible for creating and producing a series of TV ads that have spearheaded integrated campaigns to persuade rugby fans to attend live matches, particularly the end of year final at Twickenham.

Bedford School is well known and recognised for its sporting excellence and facilities, but prospective parents are less familiar with the school’s considerable strengths and achievements in music, the arts and academic subjects.

To address this perceptual barrier we produced a series of eye-catching posters, as part of an integrated campaign, which also included press adverts, digital banners and viral films.

As a result of the campaign attendance at the upper school Open Morning rose by 42% compared to the previous year, with a record number of prospective parents also enquiring about the prep school.

Bennetts Insurance

We were appointed by Bennetts, the UK’s largest insurer of motorbikes, to halt a decline in sales volume and a dramatic slide towards comparison sites.

Our creative solution tapped into the collective antipathy towards bad car drivers – the subjects of endless moans and jokes amongst the biker community.

Online display ads delivered extreme examples of bad driving in a highly engaging and viral campaign, cementing Bennetts’ position as the specialists for bikes (definitely not cars!).

As a results sales volumes increased by a staggering 30% year on year, with a 94% uplift in quotes at the peak of the anti-car campaign.

Rugby Football Union

Our task was to sell 3,500 debenture seats and 38 corporate box tenancies in the south stand at Twickenham, in the face of a lack of English success on the field.

Our strategy was to create widespread awareness through a blitz of press and magazine ads, supported by online display, and followed by a series of targeted direct marketing initiatives.

The campaign raised more than £23m in revenue for the RFU, a return on investment of more than 85:1.
